"Broadway's latest 'it' play about ??important themes' is Peter Parnell's ??DADA WOOF PAPA HOT,' now showing at Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater at Lincoln Center. This new play, directed by Scott Ellis, certainly leaves audiences with a lot to talk about...
"This drama tells the yearlong story of an older gay couple, Rob (Patrick Breen) and Alan (John Benjamin Hickey) and their three-year old daughter, Nicola... The two leads take the audience on their emotional roller coaster, showing all the nuances of a same-sex marriage and family...by watching this show they learned that gay men have their own marriage struggles, arguments, tender moments; they even struggle to get their daughter to go to sleep, just like straight couples do." (Huffington Post, 12/8/2015)
Just like the Campbell's soup commercial showing two dads and their baby in a high chair, it ??s wonderful to see that gay parenting is here to stay in the mainstream. This is real life. It is not always easy but it is what we want ?? marriage, family, a life together, a home, working things out together.
Here at Worldwide Surrogacy, we are gratified and happy that we are part of this world. Vicki Ferrara, our founder, has been a gay parent for 22 years. She and her spouse, Michelle have two sons and they have brought them up in the mainstream, living on a suburban street with a nice lawn (Michelle is obsessive with lawn care, always seeding and sprinkling) and Vicki has read and played the guitar in her sons' elementary school classes.
That is why it has been a natural evolution for Vicki to head one of the leading surrogacy agencies in the United States. Worldwide has helped and continues to assist gay parents from many countries including the United States, Israel, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and many more.
We have also been a major contributor to the Gay Parents' Assistance Program (GPAP) through Men Having Babies. It is our great pleasure and a wonderful fulfillment of our life's work to be an integral participant in the formation of more and more gay families.
